Project SuLaM participants are seated professional leaders in RAVSAK schools who have evidenced success as educational and administrative leaders and who are committed to growing Judaically as professionals. A limited number of applications will be considered from educational leaders in schools associated with PARDeS, NAAJHS, and the Solomon Schechter Day School Association.
Participants are awarded a $1,000 honorarium upon the successful completion of Phase I. In addition they are provided with a $500 professional development fund for use at their discretion to support ongoing Judaic learning. Participant schools in Phase II are provided with a $1,500 grant for use in implementing Judaic change. All expenses related to Project SuLaM are paid in full.

Project SuLaM mentors are seated heads of school who have evidenced success as educational and administrative leaders with substantive Judaic backgrounds, strong sacred texts skills, and a commitment to Jewish pluralism. Ideal candidates have a great desire to share knowledge and experience to strengthen both colleagues and the field of Jewish day school leadership. No prior experience in mentoring or coaching is required.
Program mentors are provided with extensive training in mentoring as well as a $5,000 honorarium for their work in Phase I. Mentors who continue into Phase II will receive an additional $7,000 plus a $500 mini-grant for their schools. All expenses related to Project SuLaM are paid in full.
